** All times EST
10:00 - 10:30 am
Opening Remark and Kickoff!
Join us as we kick off the first-ever SQUID undergraduate research conference! We will start with a brief introduction for the team of dedicated organizers with the Quantum Coalition who worked through midterms and finals this semester to make this conference a reality.
10:30 - 11:30 am
Opening Keynote
We are honored to host Professor Andrew White from the University of Queensland for the S.Q.U.I.D. opening keynote!
12:00 - 2:00 pm
Career Fair
Our conference is partnering with Quantinuum, Classiq, the Unitary Fund and IBM Quantum to offer you a chance to talk directly with professionals in the quantum computing industry. These professionals represent a highly diverse set of interests and backgrounds, but like us, they were all undergraduates at one point! Join us on gather.town to ask all of your burning questions about getting involved in the quantum computing industry, company ecosystems, or just to nerd out about quantum computing.
3:00 - 4:00 pm
Social Event
The participants of this conference represent 12 different universities around the world, and we are all involved in our local quantum computing clubs. Join us on gather.town for a hangout and some quantum-themed games to socialize and network with future colleagues!
